About the project-2017
Goal: Site-specific Experience Design (227 Duffield Street, Brooklyn, NY). 227 Abolitionist Place Museum needed to be reconstructed. We designed a mobile web about the museum to raise awareness and interest for the museum and help people learn more about abolition of slavery.
Background: 227 Abolitionist Place, located on Duffield Street, was one of the safe houses along the Underground Railway for African-Americans and indentured servants escaping slavery. A museum about New York slavery abolition history was proposed to be designed on 227 Abolitionist Place.
Tasks: Site research & analysis, ecosystem map, segments, persona, user journey, user flow, HMW, crazy 8s, prototypes, tests, interviews.
